An idea to lower the cost for use however is to use shutters on half your windows. For instance on the bottom half of bedroom windows or the bottom half of your family room windows. Simpsons and the suppliers have refused to reimburse us or replace the failing part. What if I had installed it and a small grandchild in the bath had knocked it with more force than I used or my elderly mother had tapped it with an elbow while bathing. The thought is terrifying and so I would advise people to think twice before using Simpsons. Was this a faulty screen or are they all liable to shatter like this?
